My take on the Top-down space shooter. Your only goal in the game is to see how many enemies you can kill before you run out of lives. You can control your ship using either the mouse or a PC game controller (I use a MadCatz Xbox PC controller). github: http://github.com/slavick/shooter

Hehe, cool game! My hand got sore after a few minutes of holding both mouse buttons down, though. Perhaps optionally use a couple of keyboard buttons, like left control and left alt.

Hey Andy, thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you like the game. If you have any sound effects that you think might be good for the game, I'll gladly use them. I couldn't find any I really liked and I don't possess the skills to make my own.

I LOVE this game! It feels great on my (official) XBox 360 controller. I worked hard and got a score of 15000. I'll be sure to look to your site for updates. Tell me if you want any help with sound fx.
