Description

In this awesome run n' gun platformer, play as mercenary Tom A. Toe, who gets an undeniably strong craving for lettuce. But not ordinary lettuce, zombie lettuce. And he is craving to, shall we say, pulverize it with his machine gun before eating it. So he sets out on a rampage to find the Legendary Lettuce of Greendom, and eat it.

About

This was my entry for PyDay #5, and the theme was "Lettuce". It won 3rd place overall.

Changes

Added sound effects and made the cutscenes smoother. Also added a new control scheme (see README.txt).

Note, PyGame sound is messed up on Ubuntu right now, so I don't know if the sounds sound right; please let me know!

This was very addicting game! :D I got interested most in its background music and went to the given url. I found it was made by an artist codenamed "Dizzy". I listened more to his tracks and came to the conclusion that I'd like to use some of them in our own project. So, did you ask for his permission for the Kaupunki-track, or are his music some royalty-free or something?

@Matthew Thanks! @Andrew Yes, people aren't liking the controls all that much. I'll probably switch to your controls suggestion in the coming update; sounds pretty intuitive. Thanks for the comments all.

Pretty decent, I'm not like the controls that much. Shoot should be space and jump should be the up arrow. It would also be good if the gun was a flame thrower. I don't know if you plan to release an update, if not then disregard :)

Thanks! And yes, I had _no_ time for audio. I added the boss and cutscenes in the last couple hours, and finished about 30 minutes before it ended. But I am planning on adding audio some time soon, probably after the judging ends. Thanks for playing.

Excellent plot and nice playability. I'm not giving a higher grade because it's completely lacking in audio.
